Lyrics[edit]

Text: Heraclitus of Ephesus

This cosmos, the same for all, was made by neither god nor man, but was, is and always will be: an ever-living fire, kindling and extinguishing according to measure.
For souls, becoming water is death. For water, becoming earth is death, From earth the water comes-to-be, and from water the soul.

Notes[edit]

  • god of fire to whom children were sacrificed
  • I Kings 11:7 - "Then did Solomon build a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the mountain that is before Jerusalem, and for Moloch the abomination of the children of Ammon."
